    The focus point is located at the center of the frame. However, it may vary slightly depending on the smartphone model.

  • 4. Can the magnetic stand module hover at any angle when used as an EDC stand?

    No, the stand can provide stable support only when it is fully extended(58°）. It cannot support at arbitrary angles.

  • 5. How do I turn off the charging grip?

    Double-press the charging button to stop charging. 

  • 6. Why does the power light remain on after the phone has been removed from the charging grip?

    At this point, the grip is still charging the remote control. Users can double-press the charging button to stop the charging, or wait until the remote control is fully charged, at which point the power will automatically turn off.

    This is a default iPhone setting where long-pressing the "Photo" button starts video recording, and releasing it stops. Our MagCam Grip mirrors this functionality. If you prefer to start and stop recording with a single press, you’ll need to switch to video mode on your iPhone manually before using the grip.

  • 18. Why does half-pressing the "Photo/Video" button focus on one spot, and I need to tap the screen to focus somewhere else?

    Our half-press focusing function is similar to the autofocus mode of a camera. It doesn’t capture the subject but instead automatically refocuses on a point to bring the image back into clarity when the subject moves or the lens switches, causing the image to blur. Users can also opt to manually focus or use their phone's built-in portrait mode for autofocus. When the focusing method meets the shooting needs, simply press the "Photo/Video" button to complete the shot.

  • 19. When users attempt to focus, the focus point appears below the intended position, making focusing impossible. What could be the issue?

    If the focus point appears below the intended position when adjusting focus, check if the camera is set to a 1:1 square aspect ratio. Switching to a 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio should resolve the issue and restore normal focusing functionality.

  • 20. The focus function isn't working even though all settings are correct and the focus point is in the right position. It works fine on other phones, but not on mine. What should I do?

    Try restarting your phone and then test the focus function again. This should resolve the issue.

  • 21. There is some wobbling between the grip module and the magnetic stand module. How can I fix this?

    This is normal and will not affect the phone's shooting functionality. The slight gap between the modules allows for smooth and easy attachment and detachment. When you attach the stand to the grip, you’ll hear a clear sound, indicating that it is securely in place. This intentional play ensures easy operation without impacting your phone's normal shooting performance.
